Career History:
B.S. University of Science and Technology of China, 1996
Ph.D., Yale, 2006
Assistant professor, Physics, Institute of Physics, 2006-2008
Associate professor, Physics, Institute of Physics, 2008-present
Research Interests:
esearch interest is focused in modern atomic, molecular, and optical Physics. Currently, three experiments are being built. The first one is a free space 87Rb Bose Einstein Condensation (BEC) experiment with 2D optical lattice for 1D quantum gas research. The second one is an atom chip BEC experiment for quantum information processor and matter wave interferometer. The third one is an optical pumped atomic magnetometer which could reach sensitivity below 10-15T/√Hz.
